While 'breaking in' the gun and mags, I found that IF the slide is locked open and a mag is 'slapped' in place, the slide snaps forward and chambers a round with any of the 5 magazines (10, 12 or 15). The 12 round extended mags from the standard P365 can work but you need to change out the magazine base pad.
